Please read these SMS Terms and Conditions before using the Illinois Adult Education Hotline text messaging service. By opting in to receive text messages, you agree to these terms.

Program Description

The Illinois Adult Education Hotline provides information about adult education programs and services, including high school equivalency preparation, English language learning, citizenship preparation, reading and math instruction, tutoring, and related resources.

Text messages are used to respond to a person’s specific request for information and may include an automated acknowledgment followed by messages from hotline staff. The service is not used to send advertising, fundraising solicitations, or unrelated promotional messages.

How to Opt In

You may opt in by using a published SMS keyword or another documented opt-in method presented by the Illinois Adult Education Hotline. The opt-in request will clearly identify the texting program and authorize text message communications related to your adult education inquiry.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving adult education information or services. Other contact options may be available through the Your Path Your Future website.

Types of Messages

After you opt in, messages may include confirmation of your request, questions needed to identify appropriate resources, information about adult education programs, contact information for local providers, and follow-up messages related to your inquiry.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your request and the number of responses needed to address it. This is a conversational support service and is not a recurring marketing subscription.

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data charges, terms, and conditions apply.

How to Stop Messages

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, you may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. You will not receive additional text messages unless you opt in again.

Privacy

Information collected through text messaging may include your mobile phone number, the content of your messages, and information you voluntarily provide so that the hotline can respond to your inquiry.

Service Availability and Delivery

Text message delivery is subject to mobile carrier availability and is not guaranteed. The Illinois Adult Education Hotline, participating service providers, and mobile carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

The texting service may be changed, suspended, or discontinued. These Terms and Conditions may also be updated as the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date shown above will identify the current version.

Eligibility

You must be authorized to use the mobile number you provide or use to opt in. Individuals under age 13 are not authorized to provide personally identifying information through this service.
