Program Description
Lake Land College's Adult Education program provides students with a variety of services including high school equivalency (HSE) preparation classes and English language acquisition (ESA or ESL) at no cost for students age 17 and older who are separated from high school. Many adult students find that earning an HSE diploma is the first step in preparation for returning to school or entering the job market. Workplace readiness, including resume building and related programming, is also a part of our HSE classes. An HSE graduation ceremony, complete with caps and gowns, is also held each May. We also offer an ICAPS basic welding certificate and a Bridge for the basic nursing assistant program (classes to prepare for the CNA exam).
